About Me

Foster is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) and holds a Master of Arts in Counseling from Covenant Theological Seminary as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Mississippi State University. He works with adolescents and adults, individually and as couples. Foster is an Associate Sex Addiction Therapist (ASAT) Candidate with the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) and is passionate about helping those struggling with issues of sexuality and sexual addiction. He also works with other issues such as anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, men’s issues, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), relationship issues, spiritual concerns, and work stress. With couples, Foster has been trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and uses this attachment-based model to help couples move from a distressed to secure relationship. He counts it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they courageously process their stories and navigate the difficulties of life. Foster desires to provide a safe and compassionate space for clients to explore their hopes and fears, as well as unhelpful patterns in life. Foster is passionate about the outdoors, and specifically enjoys hiking and backpacking. He has also spent time as an outdoor adventure guide. Foster likes to spend time with his wife Morgan exploring Northwest Arkansas and walking their basset hound.

“It was a privilege to train alongside Foster, and it's an honor to know him as a peer and colleague. As a gentle, safe, and empathetic presence, I could not recommend him more. His character and competency are a gift to those who come under his care.”

Andrew Jones, ALC

“Foster is really smart and caring. He can help sort things out, help name what's going on, and get you through the challenges you are facing. He's really trustworthy. I wouldn't hesitate referring my family and good friends to him. ”
